Made a couple little errors and learned a few things to look out for. Going to do some studying and then do the fenders.

I will want to re-do the hood but I'm going to roll with it for now to make sure the install doesn't fail for some reason before I rip it off and spend time doing it again.

Looks good. Make sure you do the pre-strech method for the mirrors.

Not doing mirrors. Leaving mirrors, wheels, wing - black.

^ Yeah, I tried not to show my disaster of a garage. :) It's a 350R - all 350s have black mirrors.

Good job so far. I've played with the idea of silver ever since I saw the image below. Issue is I have the factory blue stripes and after seeing how much they cost I wouldn't want to pull them off. Wonder how it would look silver w/blue stripes outlined by black.

Good luck with it and stay patient. I applaud you for taking on this task.

I was bummed when they didn't offer it in silver, after seeing that intro video in silver. Unlike most, I suspect a 2018 GT350 and I do think they will go silver. ;)

Any tips/tricks for n00bs? Doing the roof? Full color change?
I'm a noob, myself. Definitely watch some youtube videos. Justin Tate, I think is the guys name makes some good stuff. Search "wrap triangles" for some good hints.
Some things I've learned, which are mostly common sense but you might not realize how important they are:
- Clean workspace - dust and stuff in the air, if large enough will show up when it gets trapped in between the car and the vinyl.
- Claybar the paint and wax/grease remover on the surface, edges and behind the edges.
- If you're doing one panel at the time, still take time to clean the surrounding panels as well as the wheels/tires and under any edges/lips.
- Turn off fans, you don't want a lot of air movement and dust flying around.
- Let the car cool before you start - a warm engine will potentially make the vinyl more stretchy and sticky than you want for initial installation.
- buy some small samples to test with, I think mine were 12"x60"

good start

I don't know if i'd have the patience to tackle a job like that, seriously this is something else, i guess the hardest part will be doing the front fascia.

How long you think before the whole car is completed ? Can't wait to see it in the
daytime. Keep it up great work.

It will probably be a week or two of evening work...that's if I can work on it each night. I'm not going to wrap the jambs - as far as I can tell, the only way to do that correctly is removing the doors - no thanks! I have to remove the door handles, though..which I'm a bit nervous about.

The best way to learn is by doing. Now that I have my own home and huge garage i'm hoping to tackle some of these things myself. I want to start by carbon fiber wrapping the BLACK pieces on my mustang.

The Carbon can go south quick if you stretch it too much. Then the weave gets all crooked. For me the hood and roofs are the easiest areas to do since they're so flat. The smaller pieces are the worst especially if they have a lot of curves in them. I used to do hoods and stuff on the side in CF but before the new stuff came out. The new bubble free vinyl is much easier to work with for sure. I also was OCD about wrapping hoods all the way to the seam so it looked cleaner with the hood up. That takes even more time and patients.
