Unless they have modified the stock hood prop I have had Mustangs in the past get damaged due to vibration. The hood prop were rubbing back and forth on the radiator cover damaging it. I had a 2011 5.0 brand new and in two weeks time the damage was there. If you care enough to clean your engine bay, it helps. It's even more safe to have and the wind won't play a factor with the hood props if you show at car shows. There is no reason not to get them. But....OK.
I have owned 11 mustangs and never had a problem with one.

Yeah but The LE models aren't sexy dark highland green. I bought mine to drive, saves the miles on my shelbys and boss. They didn't get that many units in the UK, probably gain value leaving it cherry. If you could get the import/export license, go around pick up all the extra Bullitts lying aroung here, add 15K Pounds ADM to each one and sell em there.
Rare indeed

Meh, the original wasn't blingy and Ford messed up with they blinged this one out. But some enjoy that ;)
I don’t get it.
The Bullitt is the least blinged Mustang. And the most like the original.
Where is the bling?

Hey VooDoo, I've got to work in Victoria all next week; never been to BC. Anything to do there?
Dick, if you get any time and have a car, drive out to Sooke, and if your more adventures, out to Port Renfrew and go to Miracle Beach. Lunch or Dinner at Point-no-Point (1/2 way between Sooke and Port Renfrew), you will need to make a reservation.

I guess I fail to see the bling, in fact mine is so unblingy, I'm thinking of some fuzzy dice in dark highland green to hang from the mirror.

The one they had at Mustang Week had chrome all over it. All the trim was chrome. I would have thought, that would have been the norm.

Chrome around the grill and side window frame is factory.

..... chrome accent around grille and side windows is factory. Its to connect it with the original and hardly defined as bling.

That's up for debate obviously.

I guess the running horse in your grill, 5.0 emblems on the fenders and gt badge on the trunklid make a 2015 gt even more blingy then..... if were debating that is.
If it's chrome.....it's blingy. It's ok though....I use to be blingy but then went black everything on my 04 Cobra, 11 5.0 and now 15 5.0. I'm not knocking your taste, I just said it was more blingy than the original or even the 01 for that matter.

bet you have chrome tailpipes..... LOL jk.... I do hear you on the chrome and it took a bit for me to appreciate it too. Truth is I had ordered a blacked out black on black pp2 when this Bullitt fell on my lap. I almost passed on it because of the green paint alone and the chrome accents didn't help my initial attitude towards the car. But once I saw it in person I fell for the look: nostalgia meets technology. And the stripped down (no wing, badges, emblems etc appeal to me) And the fact that they're very rare in my area made it that much more appealing, not to mention the extra power with the Shelby bits.
Im not the guy that bought this car because I have a connection with the movie... I was born 10 years after it was in theatres and if Im being honest I still have yet to watch the whole movie. (I've watched the chase a hundred times tho)
