Just booked in for my first 10k service at the local dealer and they mentioned about a fuel and oil treatment being recommended every year (£24)? Never been a fan of engine flushes in the past, but has anyone any thoughts as to whether this is worthwhile?

Not until you've done moon miles.

Regular oil changes (I've just done my 3rd in 20K) are far better than leaving the intervals longer and relying on a flush treatment.

Do the changes often enough and there won't be any need for a flush at all.

What's the fuel treatment anyway...?
Snake oil:).. it's made from liquidised moon dust, unicorn urine, and mermaid tears.:D..

Costs £0.50 per litre, but dealer mark up = £10 quid per spoon full
