First Retail Orders Move into Production Phase!

Ok, it is time to vent a bit. Why is BOYDstang just going into production? I ordered 5-28 and my car has been built since 9-24 and sitting somewhere. I am pissed, but putting myself in the other early orderers shoes, I don't, and should not feel so bad. Mine was supposed to be delivered today (that was my window). Now ETA has disappeared and the dealer does not tell me crap. I am not selfish here, I want us all to get out cars and the way they allocated, just blows. All the warm state are getting cars and people can go to showroom and buy one without a wait.

The early orders should be getting the early cars. Period. It is like camping out for two days(I don't do that) to get the new Iphone and they randomly pick someone in the middle of the line to get theirs first.

There is another thread that show people who have received their cars. Is there an correlation that the car are magnetic, guard, and black with a few others in there.

Now it is getting close to winter. I have to buy new tires before I can drive it. Just about ready to cancel this order and get it in the spring.

Try PM'ing Trisha or Rachel from FordService. They may be able to get additional information.

"In Production" just like Trooper said, 1 week before the build date the car moves in production and the window sticker appears.

Getting very excited now!!!!

It was so pumped to see that blue line move ..it's been quite a while since i placed my order..still...it pays to have it arrive with any QC issues resolved...we hope.

My sales guy thinks that it could be 10-14 days now till my new baby shows up.

Some drive time would be nice before she get's put away for the winter.

I was very cool to see how the dates moved up with the build date even 2 weeks sooner then the Cotus original date.

Wishing the rest the earlier bumps!

Also wanted to point out to people that are upset because their cars are being held.... back in March.. even earlier than that Ford stated that the dealer stock was going to be pushed first... knowing this before I placed my order for the mustang, it was expected... Ford had a specific reason as to why they wanted to do this and I do feel it is a good call on their part to ensure proper build quality....sure I would have loved to get my car a bit earlier but I do not believe in first run builds... ever.... it does however look like many people who did order retail and suffered the agonizing wait will be getting their cars before many of the dealer stock orders.... there are times when better thing come to those who wait....can't believe I just said that but, it's true

Not September but I ordered 8/9 and my car entered production today. Got my VIN a few weeks ago.
