First Oil Change

Am I correct in assuming that the Ford engineer who designed the yellow oil pan plug is the same guy who positioned the oil filter access door so that oil runs all over it and also put the dip stick right under the tower strut brace?

I'm sure it's not the same guy, but neither of them have ever worked on their own cars.
