Ordered a spare set of axles for our Performance Package GT. We'll have these on hand just in case we break the original ones at the drag strip.

They are actually pretty damn beefy.

The spline count is 35 on the diff side, and 32 on the hub side. The joints look beefy, and there appears to be some heat treating going on.







So, hopefully these will hold up to some decent power. We're having some built, as well.

So do we know if the PP and non PP GT's share these?

I know the FRPP "HD half shafts" have billet centers, IIRC..

I know that there is a different part number for the non Performance Package cars. There may be others as well.. I'm not sure about the differences just yet. Maybe someone with a non-perf package can get some pics to compare?

I would say the centers would be the weak link. The ends and joints look pretty robust.

The centers look different, they have half shafts for specific sides?
