First 500mi review

Did a 100mi cruise yesterday with the local car club on some very twisty East Tennessee mtn roads and learned a few things about the GT with PP. With the steering in Sport mode the turn in on corner entry is amazing, it never seems to give up. The brakes are rediculous. My only issue with the car is a weird entry to mid corner wiggle in the rear end when it decides to set on the springs. It may just be me not being used to driving an IRS RWD car and I did get the rear to step out a little on exit. Overall Im pretty pleased with the purchase and I hope it will be even better with the Steeda springs and sway bars Im waiting on. Heres a pic from yesterday, I used to own the Daytona Coupe and sold it to get the S550.

Not in the Mustang yet. I was going straight up there from the dealership after I bought it but it was about 30deg that day and didnt want to be testing a new car on summer tires up there.

Agree about the just-after-entry-to-mid corner wiggle; it's subtle, but there, reducing confidence in grip. Then, I am spoiled, having a 2013 911 Carrera S ;). I, too, hope that the Steeda springs will solve it for us. Will you try just the springs first, as they will lower the cg and provide some more spring rate? I think it's just a bit too soft in the rear. Anxious to hear your impressions once you have them installed. I am close to ordering them myself.

Also, the PZeroes are sensitive to both cold and tire pressure. I was initially getting understeer with the Porsche (also has PZeroes); reducing tire pressure from their max-speed pressure to their recommended "comfort" setting eliminated it. With the Mustang, the dealer had set the tires to 36 instead of 32 and the rear was very loose until I backed off to the door-sticker recommended 32.

Mine were at 36 too. I will back em off and see if the wiggle works out. I will do springs and sway bars together as they are a matched set. I figure Steeda has done enough testing on the springs and sways to offer them as a package deal so they should probably be put on together.

If you install them as a packaged set, they definitely compliment each other nicely!

I'm not sure if you're aware of this, but those cars are parked the wrong direction for those parking spots.

That's how they do it in TN. Rules, they are meant to be broken!
NY and the control freak masters that they elect are not the norm in the South.

OP, last time I checked the PP brake calipers are GRAYdiculous with REDiculous letters...Oh, you meant ridiculous!

We rev our engines over 2000rpms too. We're effin CRAZY!!!!!

BTW for those interested a 3" barrel Kimber 1911 fits in the console nicely.
