I used lightstream.com for a used 2015 and it was 1.99%, no fees, no early payoff penalty. They wired the money into my checking account within one day and I paid the dealer a bank check. The title went into my name, no lien holder. They draft the payment monthly from my checking account.
I would use them again. No issues. 2nd time I've used them.

Different lines of credit will effect you as well I understand. When I bought my car my credit score was 710 +/-, however my only line of credit was my previous car loan. I went with 72 months at 2.9 from a credit union and my payments are $311 a month. I also got the Gap insurance through ford which added $10 a month if I remember correctly.

That was after 5,000 in trade equity and my D plan pricing.
check your GAP cancellation terms, getting GAP through your car insurance is WAY cheaper

I'll have to look into them. Now you said a bank check...when someone puts an ad up that says "cash only"...are bank checks usually accepted or does cash mean cash? I don't mind doing cash but it doesn't look like banks/loan companies do that.

Thanks!

Bank checks are like cashier's checks or whatever they call them now. Not sketchy like a personal check. I think they are the next most acceptable form of payment after cash, maybe considered 'cash only', I don't know.
