This works great! Last night I was playing with the numbers to get some different yellows. I'll see what I settle on. But, an awesome place to start!

Day three of ownership: I still reach for keys in an ignition switch. I also haven't quite gotten the hang of the lock and unlock using the door handle. I have a couple hours before work. Time to play in the driveway haha.

Glad to help. I really wish that the settings were 0 - 7 or 1 - 8 instead of 1 - 5 for each color. Pure RGB yellow would be #ffff00, or 255, 255, 0 (depending on hex or decimal). If they had done a multiple of 8, you could get closer to the right color and more color options to boot.

For instance, Red = 7, Green = 7, Blue = 0 would be closer to the right yellow.

I'm a colorful fella. ;) And it looks like I'm free of snow for a while. It's just too damned cold in my hills.


I met friends for lunch yesterday. Returned to my car and saw two guys gawking and taking pics. They were so involved that as I opened the door and got one leg in I heard "hey! Is that your car?" "Oh shit! This isn't my truck!" We laughed. Everyone has only had kind things to say. They love it. "I'm a BMW guy, and I'd buy one!" I've heard. "I've owned [X number] of sixty somethings and they did a great job!"

Lessons learned:
Dealership did not install locking lug nuts. They also installed my plate too low. It's awkward. And they lost my all weather mats, but at least have new ones ordered.

The sunglasses holder is interesting. I just don't know how much I'll use it. It's a bit out of reach for me. I'm so used to abusing my console for everything.

The rear camera is awesome! My first time with one. However... It's a crutch. My parallel parking skills go out the window if I don't do it old school. I have to learn to combine the two!
