I'm currently in the "dreaming" stages of owning a mustang. I had an '02 GT for 9 yrs and I sold it back in 2011 to buy a house. The typical thing happened, no more fun car! Anyway, I've been dreaming about 2015's for a while now and I have a friend at a local dealership who was able to get me a test drive in a new GT.

I now fully understand the love for these cars! The car was awesome inside and out. It was a premium with the premium trim upgrade. I actually really like the non-recaro seats with the heating and cooling. It was 80's and muggy today so the cooled seat was awesome.

The salesmen was super cool and let me take it down a curvy back road and open it up a little. The coyote revs up so fast through the cars that I bounced it off the rev limiter a couple times. I love the 3.73 gears and the car handles like a dream. Needless to say, my love for these cars is even stronger and I'm already plotting and scheming to find a way to get one!

This is the car, magnetic with performance pack and premium trim. It was originally a special order and the guy got a job out of state and couldn't come back to get the car. The car is pretty much perfect as it sits. I think my #1 color choice is DIB, but magnetic is a close 2nd. It's a sexy color!.

I recently drove a PP (just like the one you drove) and an non PP back to back and wow what a difference the PP makes. The 3.73 gears and the Brembo brakes are well worth it not to mention the better suspension. I was not going to get the PP but I recently ordered a 16 with all the available options, including the PP, except the Recaro seats. I was seriously window shopping but after the drive I convinced myself that it was time. Not I am playing the waiting game. I have a build week of 8/10

How did you get a build week already? I have a DORA but nothing in the system yet.

That's not an easy question to answer. My dealer ordered two cars to my specs, one an inventory and one a retail. I have been begging for the DORA for my retail order but after two weeks they are telling me that the system has not responded as accepting the order??? But the inventory one they advised that it is in the system and they have a build date of 8/10. I have been dealing with Deysha from Ford Service and she said that she can see my retail order in the system but has not advised on a build date. I can't see in COTUS yet. How did you get a DORA so fast. My dealer indicated that the inventory orders are filled before the retail orders but the buying basics part of this forum indicates that the retail orders are filled before the inventory so it leaves me wondering if my retail order is going to be built earlier than 8/10. I'm fine with 8/10 since it is the second week of the 16' production but I will never be able to track in COTUS the inventory one which is part of the fun.
