Cat-back or with their headers?
catback. Headers are a little out of the price range right now with the install cost- extra $2500 or so installed. Im mainly looking for sound its a daily driver.

Fair enough. Same issue for me regarding headers, along with conerns about warranty implications. Regardless, congrats on the purchase. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on it.

Corsa extreme for me. Best sounding imo and that double x pipe is pretty cool. No drone makes me happy.

Same too, warranty concerns with headers. May do down the line after 5/60k wears off if I don't tad up to a newer model by then.

I just pulled the trigger on ARH h-pipe. I think, at least from videos and others have said, the sound is fairly similar between the 2. Perhaps the ARH is actually a touch louder.
I was under the impression ARH is not nearly as loud as SW. Can anyone confirm?? I know there are a number of people swapping out their SW because it's too loud and drones. That's not what I am reading with respect to ARH.

This is getting to be quite the task. I just want an exhaust that I can hear, sounds mean, no drone, not obnoxiously loud, want to be able to talk with the passenger without having to speak up, low tone. Am I asking too much here?:D

I don't think it is, ARH is a little quieter in my personal opinion. Heck, our full system isn't that much louder it just has deeper bass as its a full system.

You think your full ARH system is a little quieter than SW’s catback or SW’s full system?

I haven’t heard SW in person, but based on the dB numbers they posted in their comparison vid, I think ARH might be louder (assuming the dB reader I used to measure my exhaust wasn’t totally off).

I think the ARH cat back is quieter than the SW cat back. But I think its deeper in tone as well, no drone.

Thanks for making the switch to the ARH system.

How do you feel about drone? That was an important factor in my decision process. My cobra has killer drone and one car is enough.

I love the h and I had that with the bullitt - classic muscle. I am now going with the double x - more modern tone that fits the s550 better in my mind.

Good luck and happy motoring.
