Hate to be an anorak but Jim Rockford drove a Camaro. Burt Reynolds drove a Firebird in Smokey and the BanditRockfords Pontiac Firebird for me. Also Starskys Grand Torino. I'm a 70's Child! These are what got me into Fastbacks / Coupes
I don't wanna be an anorak either but I have to now :frusty: See adHate to be an anorak but Jim Rockford drove a Camaro. Burt Reynolds drove a Firebird in Smokey and the Banditopcorn: I like them both though.
The Grand Torino was a total disappointment to me when I watched reruns of Starsky and Hutch. That car handles like a barge!
The greatest vehicle of the 70's was the Raleigh Chopper although that is off topic![]()
Only available in Australia :doh:When I was a kid it would have to be the trans am, still would own one if I get the chance, but to be honest I like a lot of different American V8's, but at the moment I very happy with my Ford XL 69
I presume you are on about the XL, yes they made some in Australia but the vast majority, think they made around 500,000 in 69 where made in the states and as it spent most of its life in the same state as where it was built until I imported it to the UKOnly available in Australia
