Not to jump into your thread but I stumbled upon it through the "New Posts" button.

I have to say, as an American, it's kind of ironic to hear you guys wishing about getting the GT350 as I can't tell you how many of these same conversations I've had/heard over cars that you guys get that we never do!:cheers:

Friend of mine has a place in America and had ordered a LHD 350. His was to use in the US for six months, then import to the UK and then convert it to a RHD car. The initial deal and coatings were done over the phone and email and he had arranged that on his next trip to call in and pay the money. When he got to the US dealer that wanted to charge him $10,000 Over list for the car .

When he refused and questioned how they could charge this, he was told if he didn't want to play ball then not a problem as they had a steady queue that would pay this premium !

Kinda sucks and just glad that in the UK our dealers can't pull this trick.

The higher list prices were for the 350R which were going for EXTORTIONATE amounts above list price...? Weren't they?

Haven't been following the regular 350's.

Yep, but if there's a market for it, and a higher price, may as well demand it, their residuals on both cars are going to be mental
