Factory Stripe Alignment off?

Was getting my clear bra put on today and decided to take off the stripes prior to the clear bra (going to do new ones after)

One of the guys at the shop noticed the alignment was off by 1/4" from the part of the hood leading up to the heat diffuser and then up the rest of the hood. Check this out. Anyone else noticed their stripes not lined up on the hood? Lol

I don't know if I would have even caught it if the guy didn't point it out.

Not a big deal but still I would have Ford re apply it correctly under warranty. If there comes a time to sell I know I would pass on your car for that (unless you compensated me for the work to fix it). You will find many Shelby buyers to be extremely particular.

My deck lid stripe was off, took a couple of pics, sent it to dealer.
they go it approved had the new stripes in less than a week, on the car few days
later, the rear deck lid stripe actually curves a bit, installer said it was real tricky to
do, but looks great now.

That's terrible. The list of Ford's body and paint f'ups just keeps growing. Thankfully, the stripes are one of the things they got right on my car.

Transport company scuffed one of my front stripes (middle right bumper).
I've had to contact quite a few body shops before I could find one that would work on my stripe.
BTW... wasn't a Ford shop that agreed to do the work.

Looking at those pics I get the feeling the edges of the stripes are going to get dirty as hell from dust and shit collecting.

The stripes aren't an issue anymore since I took them off. But before I didn't have any problems with the edges of the stripes. The car is black so dust is always the issue. [emoji1360]
