Well here's an interesting find!
I recently acquired a handful of OEM Bullitt shift knobs from a local surplus auction. They seem to be factory prototype/pre-production and some factory rejects.
From what I've seen they all have lighter shift patterns than factory Bullitt cars - these are all a shade of dark gray, where OEM was black.
Additionally, some have minor defects on the underside cooper molded part, but all the threads are OK. Only one is a bit funny with a "stretched" shift pattern.
It even came with a couple folders full of inspection and quality reports.
Would anyone here be interested in one of these? Thinking around $100 shipped/ea?
