Great info guys. Thanks for all the info and discussion. Just wasn't sure why you see so many of them for sale; which was probably the brunt of my reasons for starting this thread. I'm anal about detailing (probably like most of us) and I'm a self proclaimed pro detailer. I would never put a cover on a car unless it was freshly done, decontaminated.

The factory cover, simply feels like it might damage, but it will not.
The beauty of it is that nothing will stick to the inside of it and embed in it, which is far and away, the biggest source of scratches.
Those with flannel like interiors are fine if you religiously clean the car before you cover, which is tough and why they look dirty , especially on the bottoms, after time.
I really did not love it at first but they seem to be well designed.
Just me but I have not and never will put a car cover on a dirty or contaminated car.

That being the case my flannel interior car covers work just fine based on that scenario.
