Factory Aluminum Differental

How strong is the factory aluminum auto differental? Currently upgrading my axles and was looking at the Ford Performance differental. I think with a 6R80 and Whipple the 3.55s will be too much. The goal is 8.80s car will be mostly street driven though do you think the factory differental will hold up?

They are stronger than most think. There's a few of them in the 8's. You definitely want a 3.15 with a 6R80 and a Whipple. (Converter is a must)

That’s good to hear just picked up some ford performance axles. Have a circle d converter already.
