F150 O2 sensors with header swap

I've heard of this on older models (Gen 1 and Gen 2) but has anyone tried running F150 O2's when doing a header swap? Everything I have searched is for the older models or aftermarket O2's on Gen 3.
Stock 2018 Mustang GT P/N DY1607 and DY1443, 2019 F150 P/N DY1444 and DY1417.
Drivers side is clearly longer but not sure about the passenger side.
Can anyone verify why the O2's are side specific and if F150 O2's would work properly on a Mustang?
End goal would be to avoid using extensions and gaining a new set of O2's.

I’m using Motorcraft DY1444 on both sides of mine. That’s 18-20 F150 upstream left side. No issues to report except the passenger side will likely still need an extension on the Mustang, at least mine did. Used a Kooks 8” extension and it was perfect.

Interesting, it looks like the DY1444 is a country mile long. I've heard and read they are side specific but never understood why. Have you been on a dyno after running the DY1444 on both sides? Have also heard you can unclip the O2 wires going to the O2's and reroute to get a little added length. I'm going to be installing Stainless Power headers but have heard about issues with extensions in general and my overall thought is if you can avoid them it's one less connection and all factory connections as well. I just want to have everything ready before the install as I'm borrowing a lift for the day and don't want it to turn into a weekend project.

No dyno, but I’ve been running them for a while with no issues. Not ideal, but I also log my car at least weekly, so I’d catch an issue if there was one. I believe they are side specific due to harness length.

I went with Kooks extensions as I figure they are the best choice for something that isn’t exactly ideal.
