An even better question, or one of equal value, is who would put such an awesome and daily driveable Mustang away because of snow and salt that can be washed off?

I daily drive mine too... I've put a little over 5,000 miles on it this year! But the salt and snow aren't good for the paint, and the other billion idiots out there on the roads in the winter don't bode well with me. It's not my skills I'm worried about - it's theirs. I'd like to keep my factory finish/factory parts as long as possible.

Trigger's insurance expires in a couple days. Even though we're having a bit of an Indian Summer, I don't know if I'll keep her out anymore. We're supposed to have a pretty harsh winter this year.

OP: you should get some kind of piping, or trim, even like a weather stripping, something that would clean up the edges.

I said that was my plan in the original post. probably going to get tubular weatherstripping and run it around the edges.
