Exhaust dumps

Anyone do exhaust dumps? I want to cut my diffuser and just do straight dumps to save some weight.. where do you get them? Exhaust shop & performance wise does it affect anything? I have corsas and can sell them for good $$ and use the money to get closer to a sleeved block but if power decreases i will just remain with the current setup

Some guys mod their exhaust infront of the resonator (or x or H pipe if you have one instead) and have the rest of the catback V-banded on. That would save the most weight. I guess you could just v-band the mufflers on which would be easier for removal and re-install and save the muffler weight. Should not affect anything performance-wise unless you had very restrictive mufflers.
