I don't think this is for production since that's not supposed to start until later this year, but maybe production of some of the ones we've been seeing at the car shows

Its certainly no Production Line !!! - possibly a fibreglass shell or a hand built pre-production or just a spare pre-production shoved in a corner.

Love those performance wheels !

Hand built prototypes before paint I would assume. I don't believe this happens at Flat Rock but I could be wrong.

Ha, I didn't even notice that guy. I was also thinking that this might be the first full production cars they're making for testing purposes like actual production weight, HP ratings, etc. one of those might end up being the 5.0 and the other the ecoboost, wouldn't be a coincidence if the numbers came out in a month or so...just sayin lol

Having been in the plant before for a tour, it looks like one of the long hallways just off the final trim & assembly areas. I could be wrong, of course.

These are S550 shells gutted to be put on the line for tooling trial. Probably why it mentions "getting ready for production" which is technically accurate for the plant at least.

These were running prototypes that were built off site and brought to FRAP, disassembled and used to testing purposes.
