EWK Oil Extractor Pump Usability Issue

Has anyone used the EWK oil extractor pump on the 5.0L engine? I can't seem to get the suction hose more than a few inches down the dipstick tube on my 2020 GT. The hose is made of stiff plastic tubing and the dipstick tube has an offset to it which seems a little too abrupt for the tubing.
