Hello all S550 Mustang fans,

I'm Sorry, but i have to ruin your day. I got my GT last thursday from Finnish Ford-dealer.
I think, this was a first dispatch in Finland. The new S550 is awesome, much better than my old s197 GT (2009), plenty of improvements for example in interior, chassis, brakes and fuel economy. Maybe one of the coolest thing, is mustang-projection to the floor when you open the door.
Yesterday i visit with my S550 in a Finnish Mustang-club annual summer meeting in city of Lahti, here was about 200 Mustang get together, models from 1964 to 2015. There was plenty of around my S550

I begin to be jealous, my car is since late June Blocked in Belgium ...

Maybe the Belgian fellows (@UNtamed67 and @Notes) can made a special "commando mission" to the port and bring my baby to me :headbonk:

Kiitos / Thank you. The total cartaxes was around 37 kiloeuros, there is no much do with with taxes, pay or be without S550 GT. Here is Finnish current pricelist, they (Ford) have make recently some raises for taxfree prices, i think it was about 2 k for GT.

I checked and also in Italy the price has been raised of 2kEu, in fact they are now 38 and 43K!
The website has been also updated with new details and pics such as the difference in seats and some cool details!
I want mineeeee!!!

Anyway here in Italy the taxes are something about 1700eu x year (EB) and something like 5000Eu x YEAR!! for the GT!!! (you have to pay this full for the first 5 years and then they decrease becoming something like, and fixed, 700 for EB and 1000+ fir GT...until they became hystoric at 30 years! and no tax at all...

Mike, the GT has 'only' 3500 eur taxes (1000 yearly tax + 2500 luxury tax)

Yesterday was published online a new first impression test drive from hdmotori.it and they said the new prices of 38k and 43k... I had to update the prices thread

Congrats VMR! Feels great to know there are some cars slipping through the papermill...
When I saw the pricelist from Finland I am glad my father moved to Sweden in 1962 ;-)

Not to mention Norways prices, why don't they use the oilmoney instead of stealing honest workers money?

But I guess you will be getting pretty much for yor car when you sell it too?

Ouch, those taxes hurts. Sometimes I'm glad I live in Slovakia Here it's only 2,5k one-time registration tax for EB and 3k for GT. Cars like i30 are paying like 200 EUR for registration. Obviously, you're paying higher insurance for GT - but that's probably everywhere.
