European Maps for NAV

Oh I thought we were talking about European Maps for the NAV.
My NAV is there on the screen but is solid white except for the red arrow and below that it indicates the direction the vehicle is pointing. I'm assuming that my NAV has the US maps (since it's a US spec vehicle) and they don't work over here in Europe. So I was wondering if I obtain the SD card with the latest European maps if the maps are for all of Europe or just a select few countries? If a select few, which countries?

My nav card covers the whole of W. Europe.

Id suggest for what they cost, you should buy one and give it a try.

In fact I have a card from my 2015 Focus you can have for a nice price if you are interested (Sync 2, works in a Mustan SYNC 2, ive checked on my car).

Yes, any American Spec owners use the Euro Maps in the Sync 3 Navs? Great question to get answered. How much is the SD Card? May give it a try if the price is right.

Yeah in Belgium and the UK there already have been a few 2017 Mustang deliveries. Including Grabber Blue ones. I'm sure there are a number in Germany as well.

In Sync2 for EU maps to work properly you also have to change the language pack to EU. If you don't change the language pack your maps will work, but voice guidance doesn't always give correct instructions.

No idea if this also applies to Sync3.

I'm afraid your regular EU Ford dealer will not be able to help you with this. But there is a firm in Germany that specializes in Sync firmware conversions US -> EU. They're not exactly cheap though.

I have Waze on my Android.
My TomTom 920 is great. Just wanted to see if I could get the NAV working.
