Now that was fast... I got the reply from a supervisor with a very clear explanation.

"The reason it is not available for your region is because Ford of Europe did not participate in the program. The program was established and funded by Ford of North America (US/CAN), and in the case of the Mach 1, also Ford of South Africa contributed/participated. Because of this funding for the program and inventory is enough to cover only vehicles sold in the participating regions. "

So yet again EU guys screwed us...

I've had an offer for much less. The thing is it is branded a different chassis number and I've turned down the offer. We can still grab a certificate of authenticity for about 50$ once the production of the M1 completes. Obviously they need the final number to issue the certificate saying e.g. number 5810 from 15450. I'm planning on that one, plus a window sticker...

Yeah, that's nonsense. They try it when they see what GT500 owner's kits go for - right now I see 3 on eBay for $700, $900, $1111.

Haven't seen many Mach 1 owner's kits online before, but bit more now, guess some people decided to sell their car. I admit I paid $300 for it, it was the best price I have seen in last 2 years, obviously the $99/150 one appeared just a few days later

I was offered for 50, but I'm a sentimental and not rational guy. If someone wants to sell the kit, OK, but this is not MY kit, it's somebody elses, so I wouldn't buy it.
Also, I wouldn't encourage someone selling it, as I consider it part of the overall value of the car. As I said, can't explain in a rational way why I rejected the offer, I just don't feel right...
