where do you get the details from to track your vehicle?

See the first page of this post - it has detailed steps. You will need NSC number from dealer which comes few months after ordering. After few more months, ask Ford AU on FB for VIN number, they will need the NSC number to locate.

Per the first post, look at the 2wglobal site, put your VIN in get "No Records Found", repeat for several weeks until you no longer get "No Records Found".

Then you'll start getting some info, like "Loaded on Vessel", then you can click on the records and get more info like the vessel name and destination port.

Correct - Track and Trace, and VIN into the Cargo ID field.

If you get sick of seeing 'no records', you can just put in the start of the VIN:
e.g. 1FATP8F (convertibles) or 1FA6P8CF (fastbacks) to see all the other lucky pr*cks that are getting theirs before you ;)

you enter your vin number into cargo id - get ready to do this many many times. Mines built 17.05 and I still dont have a ship. Maybe in the coming week something will show.

what part of Sydney is your dealer, as I heard it depends on how long it sits in customs etc

After getting an email from Ford Australia saying my (first) Mustang was in build shortly after it actually went into build... the second Mustang finally garnered the same email! :clap2:

So I now have two "Your Mustang is in build" emails, both a couple of weeks after the actual build dates - that's actually not bad, Ford.

Yay :ford:

Now if only I could get rid of that darned "No records found" sh*t. :frusty:

Got the email from Ford today saying my Mustang had been built (only a week after it was) and that it is in it's way to Baltimore which can take up to 20 days.
