Also I didn't mean any offense, we're all going a bit stir crazy throughout this process haha
Agree and that's what I mean, when our cars are ready the "no records found" will change, no point contacting them... :)

So your car arrived at the docks on 31/03/16

It takes up to (and usually pretty close to) 4 weeks for your car to be loaded onto a ship.

That would make it exactly the 28/04/16 that you can expect to be loaded onto a ship.

I dunno what the problem is.

Yeah they might not be great at maths, that's why they are replying to messages from customers on facebook.

If you are not on a boat by the 28th (which should be the Salome car carrier) then it would be reasonable to have a blow up about it.

I agree it is frustrating..... imagine the first batch guys who waited 3 + months at the docks. During Baltimore winter too! I'm glad its not snowing there at the moment at least!

Yeh I am not worried about when it will arrive. I am just saying the information provided by them has no consistency according to which I have 3 different arrival dates and at least one of them is 100% incorrect. So just rely on the information that is updated on the links. As it will be updated when it happens and then we can estimate a correct delivery date. And won't be disappointed.

Since the first batch Ford has improved its logistic process and the allocation has increased.

90 days from build to reaching the dealership is an average wait period.

Guys, I think Kaps is just is reflecting something similar to what I was saying a while back, I just wish the info/data correlated.
Given all that has happened, the great support and feedback we have here, I think we just have to trust that like most evolving processes things improve in time.
Not sucking up to the establishment here, but I think we'd all agree that Ford must be gobsmacked by the public's response with the 6G and especially the RHD community's. They'd have to be thinking on the run! I get a bit pissed when we all start getting bitchy about how Fords service/communications/feedback/handling sucks- I know I've had a whinge too! But really, let's just take a breathe or two, see what happens and take it from there. It's not like we're all owed thousands after Ford took our money. We're just big kids waiting for a really, really good Chrissy present and we have to stay patient- no matter how f..ing crazy it makes us.
Just my 2cents

Too true, I hope ford learns from this to make future processes more transparent to the customer. It's the lack of communication and information, internally and externally, that could use some improvement.

Received a reply from Deysha overnight about my car. It apparently arrived at the dock yesterday. What are the chances my car will make it on the Salome? That's only 10 days away. Has anyone else's car made it onto a ship in such a short timeframe? Or am I likely to be on whatever the next ship is?

Slim and none.

Read all other replies. They state to expect 4 weeks prep and clearance etc, after arrival at the docks.

If you get on a boat earlier than that, then great. But you can 'expect' to wait around 4 weeks currently. Some have snuck in at around 3 weeks.... but 10 days i'd say is unrealistic.

Thought so. Anyone know what the next ship is looking to be?

So far I know that it was built on 23-03-2016. It boarded train on 24-03-2016 and arrived at Baltimore on 31-03-2016. It was not booked on Tijuca and haven't appeared on Tamerlane either.
Will you be kind enough to provide me an update, where the car is and is there any chance of getting on Tamerlane?
Thanks, my VIN is

Hey Kaps,

Thank you for reaching out to me. I checked on your order and it got to the port in Baltimore on 3/31/16. Unfortunately, once it arrives in Baltimore, I can’t track it any further. You’re welcome to contact your dealer or the Ford Australia Customer Relationship Center at +61(0) 386 133673 (13FORD) for more info. Have a nice day!

Deysha

I got a message overnight too, been pushed back from 25 to 29 April. Due to arrive at dealer on 17 May. After I finished laughing, then crying, I politely thanked her and pointed out I was pretty sure it wasn't going to get to Melbourne within 3 weeks of build
