Thanks guys
I'm not too sure what stage of the process you're at, but as David said - message Ford Australia on Facebook until they advise your VIN number, then everything from that point on go through Ford Service Deysha on the forum, once you're at that stage you can go through ETIS etc to find information for yourself

Does Ford Service automatically go through Deysha or do I have to specifically ask for that person when I send a pm through this forum?

Just send your query to Ford Service, no need to ask for anyone specifically

Thanks for that mwizz. Everyone seems to rave about Deysha so I wondered whether (he or she) is some kind of wonder kid!

In my case, I have my Vin and window sticker and a confirmed Built Date of 11th April so I am keen to see what Ford's plans are in getting my car to Baltimore and which boat they are planning to the car in.

My dealer has given me an ETA at his dealership in Melbourne of 25th June which suggests that Ford would have to a get a wriggle on to make it to an early May departure from Baltimore.

I am in that "dead time" now in between the Build date and window sticker, and the next step which is the train trip to Baltimore and the booking of a ship to Melbourne

This is worse than giving birth, I reckon..........

Sorry to be a bearer of bad news guys. I am posting screenshots of my conversation with Ford AU Facebook, which I personally believe is FordService aka Deysha.

First i was told my car arrived at Port on 23rd of March 2016, which is practically impossible, because it was manufactured on 23-03-2016.

I asked them to double check it, then they said it left factory on 24th and arrived at port on 31-03-2016. 7 days I guess its too quick and they have telling this to everyone, which means a train leaves everyday from factory, and I don't think its possible, correct me if I am wrong.

Now they are saying, it arrived at port a week ago. Hang on that means it arrived around 7th or 8th of April at port, so 31st March info was wrong.

I asked them to confirm and they did not bother to confirm any details, ignored my direct question and instead posted a message which does not give me any dates or details.

What I conclude from it. They are providing fake information to keep the customers calm.

They can only provide you VIN, when it is available and a build date, which keeps changing until the Window sticker appears.

So technically just VIN because you can then see everything as it appears from the various links provided at the first page of this thread.
Such as ETIS, Window sticker, ETIS update and then ship allocation only after it has been allocated a ship and there is no point contacting them after this anyway.

My suggestion is keep tracking your car, after you get VIN, on the links posted on the first page of this thread, and don't be overly excited with the fake information provided by FORD AU/FordService/Deysha, which is main cause of our disappointment for so called "delays."

Deysha/Ford Service/FordAu is only providing VIN and rest is Bu**S*** information to keep you calm.

Here are the screenshots:

You are way overthinking this.

One week from build to arrival at Baltimore is perfectly doable these days.

The first message was certainly an error, but the others seem fairly consistent.

Also, I would find it highly unlikely that Deysha is commenting via Ford AU Facebook - all of the information that she provided to me (via PM here) was 100% on the money.

After a pretty shitty week this makes me rather sad.
Time for a drink or 10.
Jeez, don't know what to say but there's and awfully dirty taste in my mouth.
I could rant and rave but we can all do that- we're all thinking it anyway.

Well, waddy a gonna do!
Six, but thanks for the heads up anyway, Kaps.

I agree 7 days is possible. But how come most of us are now taking exactly 7 days. Car build 21st reached Balitimore 29th. Car build on 23rd reached 31st of March. There are more examples which means a train leaving everyday which I think may not be possible and makes me think if this info is reliable or everyone is being told port arrival 7 days after build date.

Regarding Deysha look at the bottom of the messages I receive they are all coming from FordSerice which makes me believe there is just one group of staff posting to FordService and Ford AU Facebook.

Don't go too "conspiracy theory" on us haha

They've always answered Facebook messages like that, I've been told because the messages get transferred to Ford Service Aus - from the normal social media department.

Last time I messaged Facebook they told me my VIN, and the next day Deysha told me my supposed build date on here. If they were the same she could've just told me via facebook

You should try contacting your dealer and ask them to send you a screen shot of all the relevant info they have on their system. I done this and to my surprise it showed everything!. Time I ordered, time THEY actually ordered the car ( 5 months after I put down deposit ) Build date, gate release and the date it actually got to the docks, ETA etc etc.

I was tired of the generic, evasive answers from Ford AU as we all are / were and found in the end my dealer had the best info out of anyone

I got my VIN and build date by FB itself and that's all you get. Contacted Deysha after hearing a lot on forum, never responded.

Dealer wouldn't even forward me the color change confirmation email. Forget about the details. Every time I contacted him, he said "you know more than me at the moment". :frusty:
