Thanks for that guys.

Based on the blend date on the window sticker, it looks like it's getting built on 26/04.

So, it looks like my dealer's original estimate of July/August is still a "possibility" unless it sits on the docks for some reason.

I'd probably guess July is too soon for you, but August is very possible mate. Mine was built march 9th and she just started sailing out of Baltimore last night. Congrats on getting your build date!

still waiting for mine to pop up on the www.2wglobal.com site. must say its like being in a black hole, waiting, waiting.

www.2wglobal.com site taking a serious refresh pounding at the moment.

knocking off the last 4 digits of the VIN does show they are loading cars, but not for our region at the moment.

I think they build the cars to be shipped as per how they will be transmported and based on what ship is going where. You just have to think they would show the same logistics precision outside of the plant as inside. That's what the heck I'm hoping anyway.

I have tried to stop checking 5 times a day. Just down to 2 now lol

Don't worry, we've all been where you are now :frusty:

Mine took almost 7 weeks from build to boat. I think this is fairly normal.

Then you get to wait for the ship to make it's way to Oz... then the port to dealer... and finally dealer to your garage. It's character-building

According to window sticker, my car was built on 31 Mar.
I got an email from Ford on the 12th of April saying it has been built and it is on its way from Flatrock to be shipped.
I got a Private Message on this forum from FordAU saying it reached the docks on the 13th April.

I have used the Track and Trace link - but NO RECORDS FOUND... any idea how long it will take to be allocated to a boat ?
