ETIS and Window Sticker Process

If the date at the top of your window sticker says 20160506 - then yes that is your build date.

Mine was built friday 29/4 and ETIS updated the build date yesterday (4 days to update). Today ETIS has the full build list details - it's quite extensive, but shows the actual features on the car

Window sticker still has all the standard features like vents, sync 3, line lock etc - eg all the goodies we wish we had

Edit: and yes supposedly the 89-90 days starts from build date - according to a post I saw the other day

Got an email from Ford today advising me my vehicle has JUST left Baltimore. Little do they know it embarked nearly two weeks ago. Oh well, at least they are trying and things are improving.

Mine left on the TIJUCA almost a month ago and I haven't received any word from Ford. I did get an email from the Finance guy at the dealership telling me that his records show that I should be receiving my car "in the next couple of months"...considering it's just off the coast of New Zealand at the moment, I'm hoping it's a couple of weeks, not months!

Whooo got some great news today from the dealer. Was told l have a build date in 02 JUN 2017 (is segmentation date the build date). I don't have a VIN though, phoned ford care and they had no idea. I have set a message to ford people on the forum who may be able to help. Anyway I'm really excited as this is now suddenly 3 months closer than I expected.

Great news. You should have it before the AFL Grand Final, maybe before Prelim. Finals.

ETIS will show that placeholder until after the car is built - showing build date 30.11.0002 (I think that's it)

[MENTION=7992]FordService[/MENTION] can give you an indication of the build date, message them here. About a week out from the build date your window sticker will become available (check link in OP as you don't have one yet I checked), at the top will be the actual build date from the factory (in format 2016xxxx).

ETIS updated 4 days after build date for me, it then brings up all the build features and date etc

That's right, it won't update in ETIS until after it's built. Click the link in my last post and private message Deysha from Ford Service, she will give you an indication of the build date. You won't know for certain until your window sticker appears though
