Error u0284

Hello!
I removed the active grill in front of the radiator and now the u284 error is constantly hanging. Is it possible to somehow programmatically disable/uninstall them?

You might be able to disable it with ForScan. If you're in Russia you should have no problem getting a license.

If this is the Active Grille Motor "missing" error, which occurs since you've removed the Grille Motor, I've read that you can separate the small motor from the Active Grille subsystem and mount just it behind the grille and connect it to the wiring harness. This will prevent the missing motor error and still let you drive the car without the Active Grille Shutters. This is what I was going to do until I found out that my car didn't have the shutters. For some reason the convertibles don't have them.

Yes, I am from Russia and I have a Forscan license, but I can't find where exactly they are turned off. I don't want to install a separate motor... I want to remove this crutch and forget about it like a bad dream
