I noticed the other day that after running some errands, when I got home and parked the car for a while, it started making a sound. It sounds like an electronic, hissing kind of sound. I’m sure there’s a perfectly normal explanation. But, I’ve never heard a car make that sound before. Anybody else heard it and know what it is?

I have the same sound, and I've seen a few other posts about it. Noone really knows why, but it's coming from the AC compressor. It does this everytime I use the AC and it slowly goes away after a while sitting parked.

Almost like it's bleeding off pressure and/or heat from the unit.
