is there any way to disable the double honk it gives you when you leave the car running and close the door?
I'm pretty sure my neighbors hate me every time I forget something in the house..

Huge thread here:

http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14301

Long and short of it is no. There are a couple of tricks:
1. If you are in situation where you aren't worried about car being stolen, you can just shut the door, but do not close it all the way.

2. If you take the fob out of your pocket and as you are shutting the door hold it in the upper left (assuming driver's side) corner of the window and shut the door, it should prevent the honking.

It was under a couple different words so it wasn't that easy. Everyone calls it something different. I just remember seeing them.

Obviously the stock exhaust is too quiet if they had to put in this annoying feature to tell us we left the engine running.
