Eibach springs rubbing

The OEM offset at the front is 30mm and the LMR rims are 20mm, so the front tire is shifted 10mm further out. It doesn't matter what springs you run with those wheels, the tires will hit when you go over a bump.

The good news is that more negative camber will increase the space at the top of the tire. If you increase the front camber up to around 1.8 or 2.0 degrees, it might just stop hitting.

I ran my factory wheels with 12.5mm spacers with stock, steeda duel comp and frpp springs and never ever rubbed. I have done it all. The offest is not the problem, it is the amount of drop (1 inch) and keeping the stock rate unless you retune the dampers for more compression and that might solve the problem but that is a expensive route.

Also the lmr wheels are 10 inch up front instead of 10.5 factory.

Maybe eibach could comment on the OP's rim, shouldn't those work ?

Eibach did comment ( these were meant to work with factory wheels and tires).

I have ran sportlines on my GT with 295 front and never rubbed. Why? Because the rate on the eibachs sportines were twice as much .

I run these on my R. Buhbye wheel gap!! The splitter is 3.5" off the ground but she looks too good to go back

This is for potential interested buyers that want to purchase the eibach springs. I had it on my car for quiet sometimes now and I do like it. The car looks amazing and the ride is very good for driving around town and some spirit driving. I noticed today that going over dips on freeway over 100mph+ the tires rub on the inner fender right where the bumper and fender meet. This only happens with aftermarket wheels. I am currently on R reps from LMR with factory tires. So please keep that in mind. Not a big deal only happens on bigger dips and going fast.

These springs are not meant for track use. Not enough rate and too low.

The car will look absolutely fantastic with these springs but you will loose around 30% handling on your car over stock springs.

I have the eibach springs and I never rub, but I'm still on factor wheel and tire setup.
