Hi, of course im done with front side but this back side....
cannot get the spring out at all. not even close.
I follow the video [ame]
CJs installation and even take couple bolt out what it seems like its holding but no, I think driver shaft is holding it so it wouldn't go down more from this point.
my friend was keep pushing down the arm while im shaking the f out of spring but it feels like top part of spring is just glued and wouldn't like to come out.
any tips guys...???
Ive seen couple people saying "easy installation with little help" but not me....

I had the same issue didn't come out like in Bill's CJ Pony video. I had to use a spring compressor on one side and then use a long pipe wedged in the rear suspension to push down. Finally came out with that and some work.

mine came out pretty painlessly but when we did my buddys car, also a GT with the sportlines we had to pretty much stand on the rotor with the subframe pretty much completely taken off to get the springs out.

make sure you have all the necessary hardware out. the backs are easier, but if you get into a bind they become tough!

Start again tomorrow, better to be on a clear head.

Something is wrong if you loosen the sway bar end link and remove it off the sway bar, then remove upper shock upper mount and lower the subframe the spring comes out easily. I have done this install 15 times so far between my car and friends. It takes me about 1 hour but i first get the car up all around on jack stands .and use one jack under thr diff when lowering. Spray silicone on upper rear spring isolator and pull it will pop right out

I had to use another person to get the subframe to drop enough to pull the spring out. If you're doing it by yourself it's near impossible without a lift, because with a lift you can hang and pull the subframe down while pulling the spring.

I was using lift and having extra but still couldn't do it
End up at taking more stuff out. Now it's installed looks good but problem now is it make some squeaky noise in the morning maybe due to cold temp??? Because it goes away after noon
