Our kit debuted at SEMA 2 weeks ago in BorgWarner's EFR sema booth. A turbo manifold is the foundation of any kit, and ours is proper... Inconel 625 investment cast and fully CFD optimized/engineered. There is no other manifold from anyone that has this level of development.

this is not a simple design. I personally worked with Ford on this since 2009 and it took multiple iterations to get to this point. We could have guessed or "winged it" like the other big turbo kits.. but it wouldnt work like this. that being said, the new turbonetics unit is promising and the only other turbo i'd consider putting on my own car.

Fftec 7670 can be tuned by them or a number of Cobb tuners. Iam sure if you contacted them you get a better price bundled with a custom tune. Vmp has it for 4700 I believe as well. I've had mine for a bit, have no complaints solid kit.

-In your OP it would be worthwhile to differentiate between twinscroll and singlescroll. This is a massive difference on the 2.3L ecoboost engines.

-warranty: Full-Race manufactured components have always carried a lifetime warranty against manufactured defects and cracking. We build the finest turbo manifolds in the world, and have the track record to back that up.

BorgWarner's turbocharger warranty is also very good. As their #1 distributor we are regarded well and make certain our customers get the support they deserve.


-tuner/tuning options
- a vast majority of our customers are tuned on Cobb, adam at tune+ knows our kit inside and out. If you are on SCT either speak with adam @ revolution auto in MD or jeff evans @ evans tuning in PA

From where I'm sitting... if you're selling a big turbo for my car and *dont* include a custom tune from an expert calibrator... you are doing it wrong. :shrug:

unfortunately it doesn't quite work that way. If you have no previous experience with a big turbo car, I can understand the confusion. There is always more than meets the eye and particularly in this country there are factors i can not discuss on a public forum.

Im shocked jeff evans is still tuning. I thought hed be out of the game and retired being that he was killing hard in the honda scene for so many years. Hes been doing this about 25 years, no? Wasnt he about 30 when he started?

No offense but Geoff is 100% right here. Selling a canned tune with a turbo upgrade is what companies do when they want to make extra money off you. EACH car though the same, will perform slightly different. When spending money on something like a turbo kit, you should budget into that a custom tune from someone who knows what they are doing. Sometimes we offer a tune "package", meaning when you buy the turbo you can check an option box to add a custom tune from X tuner for X dollars. It is usually at a lower cost than the tuner normally charges as a bundle price with the turbo. Once the kit is installed you contact X tuner to begin the tuning process. To say a company "should" include a "tune" with a turbo kit honestly, is not accurate, or how it really works.
