Ecoboost PID's

Anyone know what the PID is for the inter cooler outlet temp (aka charge temp) and a program that can detect it? I have the OBDIILink MX, but the default software doesn't seem to read Charge air cooler temperature bank 1, sensor 1. I can select it, but it won't show up when it's connected live.

It could be a limitation of the MX, but from everythign I've read it should be reading all the normal PID's like that, not sure why it won't it my car unless I have the wrong PID for charge air temp (aka what's coming out of the inter cooler).

It's IAT2

In the app I'm using the full PID is FORD.ENGINE.IAT2

BTW, Also in the app I'm using, that PID wasn't available. I had to choose a 2014 GT to get it.

Ok thanks, I'll try that. I'm just using the app it came with, which seems reasonably good, but it listed Charge air cooler temperature bank 1, sensor 1, bank 1, sensor 2, bank 2 sensor 1 and bank 2 sensor 2. None of those seemed to work.

I used Torque (Android). It worked awesome and it was listed under IAT2, as well. Most factory like PID monitors are gonna have it listed under IAT2.

I may just spend the 5$ on the Torque pro app lol. This one still won't recognize the IAT2...it may be my familiarity with the software, but Torque is popular to there's a lot more easy access knowledge which makes it worth it to me and it's compatible with the OBDIILink MX.

I spent the cash for TP. It was well worth it, in my opinion, and I think you'll be pleased with it. I gave away my MX when I bought my APs, but I wish I would have kept it.

Is Torque Pro now called OBD Fusion? I did a search for Torque Pro and that's what it came up with. For the OBD2 adapter, I'm using Kiwi 3 and love it. For the app I am using Dash Command but very interested in the app you're talking about.

It's still showing up right now as Torque Pro (OBD 2 & Car) by Ian Hawkins. You are using an Android phone/tablet, correct? I don't know that it's available on iOS.

I spent the cash for TP. It was well worth it, in my opinion, and I think you'll be pleased with it. I gave away my MX when I bought my APs, but I wish I would have kept it.

Just bought it for $4.99. Even though I have a cheap smart phone with a cracked screen...lol.

It's good enough, I'll get a better phone soon anyway and since you can run it on any android it'll work just fine.

I did find the CAC PID listed, I'll have to see if that works without entering it in as a custom.

I'm pretty certain you can't get the charge air temperature with the torque app and that that particular piece of information is now stored in DMR, not a PID. you'd need a more specialized reader to get that directly. IAT2 is the inlet air temp, pre turbo.

That is incorrect. It is a PID and available in Dash Command and it is the temperature after the turbo and right at the outlet of the FMIC.

The only problem with Dash Command is they didn't include that PID for the 2015. I"m guessing the reason they have it for the 14 GT is if it had a supercharger? Either way, I just select the 14 5.0 as my vehicle and can monitor IAT2 just fine. I like to keep 1 gauge screen to show both the intake air temp and the charge air temp for comparison so I can admire my wonderful ATM FMIC.

Regarding Torque Pro, I can't confirm that because I use iPhone but it sounds like others have it available.

I guess we'll find out...lol. I'll report back if I can get it to work, but if it's available as a PID I don't see why I couldn't.

If you need to add it in Torque, you can add a custom PID. Charge temp is not a DMR.
I actually made a list up for the Focus ST forum, that I could definitely update with all the PIDs, just haven't gotten around to it.

I looked in the Torque forum to see if they planned on supporting iOS, it looks like he is not and many have asked. As mentioned above, when searching for Torque Pro, I found OBD Fusion. Looking on the Torque forum someone said it looks like Torque and was guessing it might be reverse engineered.

I went ahead and bought it for $10 and spent $10 more for the enhanced PIDs to get "Intake Air Temperature 2". I was shocked when it scanned for supported PIDs and found almost 600 for my EB! The app is very easy to use and customize. I wish I had never purchased Dash Command.
