Just using the on-board automatic timer I hit my best today at 5.3 seconds.

Track Mode
Auto trans in sport mode
Launch around 1,800 to 2,000 RPM
Manual shift to 2nd around 6,500 RPM
(hits 60MPH before redline in 2nd)

Roush cold air intake and axle back exhaust, Steeda TB spacer, Bama tune (revision of RACE tune), 93 octane Shell Nitro+, stock Goodyear 18" tires on stock suspension

My best is 5 flat 0-60. 2016 Base automatic with 3.15 gears, manual shifting at 5800rpm on the stock 235 all seasons. I launch around 2300rpm.
My mods are in my signature.

My best was 5.5 in a base manual with 3.31, TCS and stability control turned off. That was when the car was stock. I really haven't tried it out our with the tune/intercooler/intake, but I half ass'd a 6.0 the other day... Too much torque down low to get a good launch on all seasons.

Vert turbo!!!!
5.3 several times in a row, with the top down. Wanted to see if how bad it would drop from the initial run since so many people were saying how the intercooler was so bad. No drop...

I don't use manual shifts... let the auto do it 100%. What you need to do: get a good jump off the line. Once you nail the take-off, every thing else is golden (floor it and keep it out the ditch or wall).

I've not run a 0-60 in about a year... don't see the need.

Unleashed tune!!!

I need better rubber, any suggestions for good track rubber on the stock 18 rims?

The intercooler police are likely on their way, so I wanted to quickly confirm that today on an 82 degree day in South Carolina I also was consistent with the short bursts of speeding I enjoy. :headbonk:

I don't know if it's a feature of my Bama tune or what, but the MANUAL shift to 2nd running a 0-60 feels much quicker with firmer pressure vs the auto trans.

Understood 100%, makes sense once you learn the quirks and where max power is I don't see the need either...which is why I run them all the time for now! ;)

My current best is 4.8 with a lot of sway.

The BF Goodrich G-force series has always done good at balancing daily driving with street performance. They have all season, summer tires as well as straight up track tires.

When these Goodyear wear out, I'm likely going G-force all season.

Well the highest I can stall is 12-1300 rpm. I have a hard time figuring out how to get a 2300 rpm launch.

Is it the highest you can stall before the tires start breaking lose? Cause the converter can stall up to 2500-2700rpm. You aren't the first person though who's found the fact that I can launch at 2300rpm on 235 all seasons odd. Everybody tells me that on street tires on the street they are lucky if they can get up to 2000rpm without blowing the tires off. For whatever reason with how my tuned was finalized by Adam with Tune+ I can do a 2300rpm launch on a good road. I do need tires though because it is inherently a soft launch still. Hopefully by the end of the year I can get some wheels and at least 275's out back and get it to the track to try for a 12 second 1/4 mile.

Seems like so many factors like tires, road, but also whether you just stomp the gas or quickly finesse it up to high RPM's without breaking traction.

I'm still trying to learn where to coax the most takeoff without spinning out myself, which is why I go for 0-60 runs like every day right now!
