My local dealer got their trainer in today... The car looks beautiful in person.

The Ford guy said he was seeing about 32-33MPG (highway) consistently with the EB manual. He was pretty friendly & knowledgeable. Even mentioned the exhaust not being a true dual for the EB, which as we know is correct.

That I believe is basically driving it "like you stole it" fuel economy observed.

Though a bunch of reviewers have said that the GT is getting around 15 mpg " like you stole it" driving (some have said 11-12). Others have said pushing the EB they were getting on average 22 mpg.

i hate that saying.... if i stole a car i would drive it 5 MPH under the limit to not get busted. Now dricing it like itwas rented is another story

No reason to believe the guy is lying but ppl with no stake in the sales are going to give you better real world estimates. I have no doubt that this thing will average mid 20s at best unless you're shifting at or below 1500rpm for an entire tank.

Right, no reason to believe the ones who've been driving the cars around to and from sessions for months now, we should go by reviewers who drove them for all of two hours, and drove harder than 90% of owners likely will.

I am close with a few ppl that have been testing EB and theyve reported excellent mileage if you drive the car reasonably. They would have been candid about it if it were otherwise. C/D is notorious for getting crap mileage because they flog the hell out of the cars. They averaged 19 or 20 mpg in a focus SEL fyi...

And yet they're granny-shifting pansies that routinely report 1/4 mile times significantly slower than real enthusiast sources.
