Ebay Switchback LED lights review+video

From what I can see in the pictures the eBay and DD bulbs look identical to each other but I'm assuming it's just the exterior is the same and the interior and workings are different. Looking forward to your review!

My DD are here, still waiting on the Ebay ones. Might be in the mail for pick up today, got a notice yesterday a package was missed, not sure. The Ebay seller actually refunded my order, said he felt they were lost, it has been a while since they were ordered. If they show up today, I will have it done this weekend.

The internals are obviously different in some way because they flash differently at night time than the DD bulbs despite being the same externally, however as noted in my video they did not lose any noticeable brightness after heating up to full operating temperatures.

At night they are so bright you can see them to your left if you look down at the road, you can tell where the headlight beam starts and the LEDs are insanely bright.

Howd o they flash?

One of my dd bulbs fell out while I was at the track. I found out the hard way, the abnormal galloping horse sound audible inside the cabin while using the turn signal is Ford's way of telling you there is a fault in the lighting system.

to get rid of the fast blink with any led bulb a resistor will be needed. i got used to it after about 2/3 weeks

I think switchback bulbs that flash white/yellow rather than white before then yellow/off and back to white when turn signal is off look very cheap (eBay like). If you're ok with that and just want to save a little money, this is fine.

Have you had a chance to test the three sets of bulbs as you had planned?

Just installed mine ordered from the same vendor as the OP. Mine blink amber, amber with a one second delay to white.... these are different than what is shown in the video. Still have the fast dash indicator but it really isn't bad at all. Great find and looks much better than stock.

Thanks for the review! i received my order today and installed. I dremeled them and used electrical tape as well. They work great. mine do not alternate from amber to white, when the turn signal is on, it flashes amber, and then the white comes on when it's done.
