DD also will give you a 15% code for this forum making them more like $51 vs $27.

For $20, I will trust DD with a 3 year warranty and support. The $27 will be throw aways if anything happens to them (or one of the bulbs) and have to buy a new set. I am also a bit leery of putting cheap Chinese crap into my car wiring. Melt a wire from a short or something and you DEFINITELY won't be covered under car warranty. DD charges more because their quality overall is better and use better components (not cheap). Not all circuitry is created equal or assembled equal.
Thanks for the feedback everyone!

We're getting a lot of PMs looking for a code- we do offer a free domestic shipping code to forum members, but we're not able to offer any ongoing discounts, unfortunately.

Also, as others have said, these bulbs seem to flash white between amber blinks. DOT compliant or not, that generally ends up looking like a flashing white light, which is sure to get you attention from your local law enforcement. The lack of proper circuit design, which is what causes this, is one of the most common traits of a generic dual-color bulb.

Of course, it might be acceptable for some people, and this is certainly a budget option. That's totally fine if you choose to go that route! However, please just know that our bulbs will provide perfect function every time, with no intermittent white flashing, a perfect fit, and of course, all of our products are backed by a 3-year warranty. Thanks everyone!

It looks nothing like a flashing white light, at all. I asked my neighbor who is a state trooper in Texas if there was ANYTHING at all illegal about how they operated, he assured me 100% they were fully legal and would not attract any attention whatsoever. He did however advise me to put on a front plate and said that he writes tickets for that often.....haha I'll wait till I get pulled over for that one *knocking on wood*

I understand your bulbs have a seemingly better circuit design, and now fit better with your new bulb, and I have said nothing about good things about your product, but don't try to scare people into buying your bulbs, these are perfectly legal in the usa.

Well...... being curious. I have ordered both full sets of Ebay lights and DD lights. Upon arrival, I will do a side by side comparison, will install both on either side of the car at the same time and post up a video on it.

Bit of a waste of money, but I am sure I can sell off whichever set of lights I don't use to some one :)

I was just about to post that! Might ditch the DDs if these color match the running lights better.
XD Ya snooze ya lose.

If I had seen these before ordering my DD ones I may have went with these. I love DD's lights, replaced almost all my bulbs with them, but at $22 cheaper, and honestly they look a bit nicer with all the seperate LED's (tho I'm not sure if that's going to affect performance that much).

PHRENETIK... Again, I want to thank you for posting this to the forum... I just received the same EBay lights that you ordered for the front DRL/flashers. Did you dremmel those lights or the Map lights? Although they appear to not go into the bulb housing/harness as far as the stock OEM yellow bulbs do, they seemed to snapped in fine for me. I heard a little snap/clip as they went in. They looked shorter, but seemd to snap in fine. Not sure about using any electrical tape. Really rather not go that route. But for $26, it seems to be a great deal and man are they nice and bright. On a a side note, I really do like how they switch from amber to white when they blink.
Just be careful with these in FL as strobing colors (white and amber) could technically be found to be against statute to have unless you fall into an exemption as stated (emergency worker, road crew, mail carrier, etc). It is a "minor traffic infraction" and you can get a ticket.

316.2397

(5) Road maintenance and construction equipment and vehicles may display flashing white lights or flashing white strobe lights when in operation and where a hazard exists. Additionally, school buses and vehicles that are used to transport farm workers may display flashing white strobe lights.

(7) Flashing lights are prohibited on vehicles except as a means of indicating a right or left turn, to change lanes, or to indicate that the vehicle is lawfully stopped or disabled upon the highway or except that the lamps authorized in subsections (1), (2), (3), (4), and (9) and s. 316.235(5) are permitted to flash.

Obviously it is too long to copy and paste and out of context without the other sections of that statute, but google it. To me (as a FL attorney) I could certainly see this being ticketed and the statute is vague enough that a court could make you remove them.

Flashing amber yes. Strobing effect between colors is a different story. As I said, up to a court to interpret the laws, not even lawyers. A court COULD say they aren't legal if you are ticketed and choose to appear rather than remove and/or pay the fine.

Again, everyone is free to do what they want to their cars. Tint here is 28% legal on the fronts, is mine legal? Technically no its 15-17%. But I do so knowing the risk and the odds are low around here as tints are rarely enforced unless you are doing something else wrong.

Just want all to be aware to check their state laws and don't assume something on Ebay is legal in all states. It doesn't mean you WILL get pulled over, just understand the risks involved with the bulbs.

At worse like a tint you will get a warning to remove them.

From what I can see in the pictures the eBay and DD bulbs look identical to each other but I'm assuming it's just the exterior is the same and the interior and workings are different. Looking forward to your review!
