So I picked up these lights 26$ shipped for the pair.

I highly recommend them as they are a great value and seem to be working great. I did my own dremeling to get them to fit like diode dynamics did before creating their new mold. However, you can also just use electrical tape to hold them in place if you want.

Now on to the interior led lights with diffusers that I picked up for a dollar each.

They work great in the sidemarkers, however installing them in your trunk will require you to test them in another socket first. I blew fuse #1 by installing the bulb backwards. after replacing the fuse with one of the included spares with the car, and installing the bulb the opposite way everything worked fine, but i'd recommend testing the +- terminal for everyone else. in the map lights, the bulbs were a little too wide and I dremeled the edges(took about 1 minute per bulb) and got them to fit fine. they look great but took a little extra work, then again the bulbs are only $1 each!

Strange, must be my macbook for some reason. I am trying to source those T10's somewhere else as that particular seller won't ship to Canada, but good find on the switch backs.

Thanks for the update! I ordered them and the other lights from the Ebay links you posted. I would have bought the Diode Dynamics set (which I'm sure are made very well) but at almost $80, it was too much for me. And if I do not like the Ebay ones, it's a lot less out of my pocket.

Thanks for sharing.

One thing I did notice. These bulbs appear to flash back to white while the blinkers are on. (In other words it alternates between white and amber) I believe the DD bulbs actually just flash amber and do not switch to the white while the blinkers are on. I'm not sure this would be entirely DOT legal but hey we all do a lot of mods that aren't on the up and up. A good price to be sure but I'm not sure they function exactly like the DD ones. Good find and glad you are enjoying them. Let us know how they hold up over time.

I believe you are right sir! DOT legal doesn't require anything besides having a flashing amber, nothing about what color the light is between blinks so it's fine. I actually think the color change is pretty neat how it goes back to white but i literally have a huge problem against the colors orange and yellow in general lol.

if you prefer them to stay amber you should definitely look at a different bulb or diode dynamics

Thanks for the write up, I was thinking about the DD lights but they are way overpriced and another forum member made a post this morning about the issues he is still having.

To be fair the DD are $60 vs $27 for these Ebay. These $27 ones dont come with the side marker bulbs either and most will have to buy on top of that price. DD charges $12 for the 2 sidemarker bulbs with the switchbacks. I saw 4 on Ebay for $12-13 so it's a wash if you don't need extras (and shouldn't really)

DD also will give you a 15% code for this forum making them more like $51 vs $27.

For $20, I will trust DD with a 3 year warranty and support. The $27 will be throw aways if anything happens to them (or one of the bulbs) and have to buy a new set. I am also a bit leery of putting cheap Chinese crap into my car wiring. Melt a wire from a short or something and you DEFINITELY won't be covered under car warranty. DD charges more because their quality overall is better and use better components (not cheap). Not all circuitry is created equal or assembled equal.

And to be fair I read the other post about the issue and it sounds like the user did not properly click the bulb into the housing and it fell out. The sockets have clips that click and hold the bulb. It didn't sound like DD's fault at all on that one; just user error.

It's the buyer's choice though what to use at the end of the day. For $20 I'd buy DD personally who warranty their product for 3 years. Even if you have to buy one new set of Ebay cheapos you already spent more that going DD from the start. Buying LED bulbs once should last the life of the car for most.

I got to agree, the warranty and customer service from DD is worth the extra dollars. I'm not knocking the OPs choice to use ebay, and they look good and seem to being working good as well. I just find it so much easier to work with a reputable company then trying to contact hopsing in china when the bulbs go.

You'll have to PM them here, I don't know if it's static or per customer, or changes monthly etc.

Of course no knocking the OP, they look fine. Just important people realize no name brands could break/go out next week and end up costing the same price after replacement, since they're only 1/2 the cost with the DD code, while DD come with a 3 year warranty. If it was $20 vs $120 type huge variation, I may say go cheaper and replace 4 times even if it was one set a year still saving money.
