Interesting days....

Yesterday my dealer installed a Mishimoto Downpipe :):

And today I went to BR Performance with my son to have the car updated with a stage 2 Tune. Previously I had a Mishimoto Intercooler and K&N air filter installed. These 3 accessories aren't suppse to bring any additional power without a tune according to the site of Mishimoto but they would allow me to go for Stage 2 instead of 1.

Preparations (tightning up the ecoboost before it becomes an ecobeast, get some exhaust suction tubes installed and position a massive front ventilator to cool off the engine):

And added some security measures in case things go wrong :eyebulge:

We started at a modest :D 304HP and ended up at 354HP!! :clap2:

Why not go for a full exhaust? Problems in your country?

Is that Wheel or calculated Crank HP? Either way that is an Impressive bump.

Interesting! Will you need to get a tuning rapport for it at the inspection? Been told last week that for every tune we do (from lowering springs, brakes, exhausts etc.) we need to go to the inspection for a tuning rapport...

Btw, how did the K&N air filter improve your performance? I'm interested in this one, not the cold air intake but the filter. Thx

[MENTION=14076]Notes[/MENTION], how the heck will they know there is a tune in the car at inspection? Had my wife's mini tuned in the past and went twice to control, they just check the car not even the fire extinguisher (might be obsolete from 2005, they don't give a ....) K&N filter is supposed to add a bit of smoothness, I like the fact it's washable and not in paper like Ford's one. Saves a couple of euro's at the end as well...

[MENTION=16952]Glenn G[/MENTION] It's engine HP. The 304HP to start with is the promised:D 314HP by Ford...The other Stangs they tuned so far only had around 295HP, guess you need some luck with the engine you get...

[MENTION=14551]Lsstefan[/MENTION] : The added sound level with the Mishi downpipe is perfect for me. Removing the resonator was something I had in mind as well but will skip it for now. So it's FRP Touring axleback + Mishi Downpipe

The HP varies depending on the air temperature, humidity, they way the count the BHP from the measured WHP... It was a good day for you :) Mine only had about 280 BHP :D
