I'm confused--- which $750 incentive did you use? Did you use the $750 car brochure incentive, or the EAA $750 incentive?

You may have just confused a lot of people on here, because the $750 car brochure incentive CAN DEFINITELY be used with X-Plan--- I can take a picture for you of the fine print if you need proof.

I didn't join EAA, because like many other people, we thought that it was pointless because we would get our cars WELL PAST 1/5 or 1/6 (or whatever it was) when the EAA $750 incentive expired, and we read in many places on here you only received the incentives that were valid when you purchased the car at delivery at the dealership....this was well before this purchase protection thread that started on 12/29.

I still plan on using X-Plan (MCA) plus the whatever $500-off scheme is, plus my $750 car brochure incentive coupon to get to having $1250 off.

Please clarify if you can, because these cutesy names for Private Cash/Special Cash/Martian Cash/WhatThe Cash are really making things hard to follow when they are not defined anywhere. :tsk:
Sorry, I assumed everyone had been following my posts in this thread oops :D I was talking about using both the EAA X-Plan 750.00 incentive (note not X-plan itself) and the 750.00 Private Customer Cash incentive. They don't stack. The 500.00 (regardless of what it is called) can be used with any other incentive EXCEPT special Ford Financing.

I used essentially the $750.00 brochure incentive. It expired on 12/6/2014 but I ordered on 11/10/2014. Even though I did not close on my car until 1/13/2015 they honored my 750.00 incentive, since I was eligible prior to ordering, plus the current 500.00.

Like mkenney28 has Posted many times, apparently (now a days) the "Date" you Order a Vehicle when a Incentive or Program is in place "supersedes" all Incentive and Program expiration dates. Not sure if this is Ford`s (new) system or a one time "Grandfather" clause. I know for a fact, in the past, all Programs and Incentives (expired) on the date the Program & Incentive ended. Sorry, you Vehicle didn`t arrive in time to use it but...... Glad it worked for mkenney28 and perhaps others (but) I myself would never let $1250 hang in limbo past the Programs expiration date. I`d sooner loose a few days of Warrantee Coverage and lock my Deal on or before the Program/Incentive ends then gamble that Program Headquarters changes their position and tells the Dealer, sorry, it has expired, period! This is my 3rd X-Plan Purchase in the past 10 years using Programs and Incentives and I firmly believe, "A bird in the hand is worth more then two in the bush". For those of you that had your Incentives paid (past) their expiration dates, I`m happy for you. Hope it works for you next time too. Cheers

My dealer got my $750 EAA certificate accepted by Protection Program. He e mailed order protection hq as per my request, they asked for the VIN of the vehicle I am purchasing, name, address, and order date and they accepted it. He then tried to get the $500 switch incentive protected which is unnecessary because it's not expired.

This was the explanation from Order Protection HQ on how the program works.

The way incentive protection works is we protect the total amounts of rebates at the time of order, then at the time of delivery if the customer does not have the same total available then we would make-up the difference.

*

For example at the time of order the customers total amount of rebates is $5000.

At the time of Delivery the total amount of rebates available to the customer is $4000, incentive protection will authorize your claim for $1000, to make-up the difference.

If you have any more questions please contact us.

Thank you,

I originally forwarded him the EAA Certificate when I got it and explained the Incentive Protection Program but when I got to the dealership on Monday he told me he couldn't find the Program number in the system as a valid offer at the time I placed my order. I told him I wasn't going to argue with him over $750 but I would show him that it was. I showed him the e mails between myself and program hq stating it was valid at the time of order. I showed him this thread and he told me to e mail him the information and he would make sure I got all of the incentives I was eligible for. He copied me on all of his correspondence between he and order protection to show he was doing everything he could for me.

My car is sitting in the rail yard waiting for a convoy to the dealership. I used x plan, got $1250 in incentives and I got a lower interest rate from the dealership than Ford's special financing. I got less on my trade because last week a lady hit a shopping cart with her car into mine and called the police, stupid bitch filed an insurance claim and the police filled out an accident report. Carfax listed it as a front end collision even though the accident report states that it was a shopping cart and I didn't go through insurance. The dealership knew I was telling the truth because they saw the report was filed 4 days prior and they already test drove my car and inspected it, they knew it wasn't in a front end collision. Regardless of the facts a bad Carfax report significantly lowers trade value, they offered me 6k for my trade and I said no deal, got them up to $7335. I am so furious with Carfax for screwing my trade value with a false report of a front end collision that I am thinking of taking them to small claims court for the 5k maximum in Florida for the trade in loss. I doubt they'd show in court.

FYI to everyone, My dealer used all the info I and others provided in here and I got the full 1250.00 in rebates. We could only use one of the 750.00 incentives since the x-plan one and the Private Customer cash do not work together, but that was to be expected as others had already run into the same issue. There was no backdating of the sale or anything. They registered my deal for the Incentive Protection Program and then their was some additional incentive paperwork to fill out and initial (two papers). Easy Peasy.
A follow up to say thank you to mkenny28. When I first read the beginning of this post, I decided it was worth the $40 membership to EAA to gamble to take a chance to get the $750 rebate back. I had ordered my GT Convertible on 11/17/14 under my MCA X-plan pin. I joined EAA on January 3rd and received my $750 certificate via email immediately. I printed it out and brought it to my dealer that afternoon and told them I wanted to use the coupon as I was eligible and the car wasn't in yet. They told me to bring it back when my car came in and they would do their best to get it since it would be expired by then. I picked up my car on 1/23/15 and brought the coupon and the detailed instructions mkenny28 provided in this post and my salesperson called the Incentive Protection hotline while we were doing the paperwork and started the process. He told me that because it was expired that they would send all the paperwork off and if approved, I would get a check in the mail in a few weeks. I was already getting the $500 Switch Cash and the $1000 Lease Conquest and those were taken right off the top so I wasn't going to argue that I wanted it right then and there as I had also read on here that other people were told they would receive a check later after the Incentive Protection HQ verified everything.

Well, I just got back from a week in Las Vegas with my wife and sitting in the pile of mail when I got home this morning was the $750 check from my dealer for the EAA incentive. Glad it didn't come before I left for Las Vegas or I may have left it in a slot machine there! :headbonk:

So that's a grand total of $2250 in incentives! $40 EAA membership gamble on the last day of eligibility paid better than any bet I placed this past week in Las Vegas!

I don't believe so. However, you can join MCA for $50 to get x-plan and then cross your fingers for the $750 private cash offer from Ford (via their mailed brochures). I requested 6 brochures between my wife and I, and 3 of the 6 had the private cash offer.

This same brochure offer stacks with the standard $500 rebate that Ford offers from month to month as well.

I'm trying. I got 2 brochures today, but, alas, no golden ticket.:brokenheart:

I`m happy that for mkenny28 and all others that got their $750 Incentive Rebate monies "grandfathered" in (post) the expiration dates of their respective Program expiration dates. In years past, Ford (never) honored Promotion Cash Back Offers after the expiration regardless of circumstances. I have in the past and will continue to do so in the future to guarantee the "monies" to have my P & A Agreement dated on or before the expiration date if my Vehicle is expected to arrive within 2 weeks or less. Small price to pay for a few days of Warrantee Coverage to lock in the savings for sure. "In Dog I Trust", everything else, not so sure. Cheers!

I, supposedly, have the EAA $750 incentive and the 'new' $500 AutoShow/Spring Cash (which expires on 3/31). My convertible has been stuck in Production since the beginning of February with no word when it is going to be shipped out! I have already told my dealer that if I don't get the $1,250 off my X-Plan price or there are significant QC problems, I will walk out and wait until the 2016's are ready.

Sounds very much like what happened to my S550 Convertible that was a Retail X-Plan Order which was submitted 9/2/14, Vehicle was Built on 11/25/14 and then was stuck at FRAP until suddenly it was released for shipping on 12/27/14 during their Holiday shutdown and arrived on 1/9/15. Some Vehicles get built and released for transport the very same day, others, like mine, simply disappear into (overflow storage) or FRAP`s Twilight Zone.
