Hey guys/gals,
Picking up my Mustang GT in a few days and one of the first mods I was hoping for is an Ethanol Content Analyzer (flex fuel).

I am coming from a turbo'd BRZ, and software let you plug an ECA into the ECU and fuel lines and the tune could make adjustments for E0-E90 without having to empty the tank and reflash. Does something like this exist yet for the Mustang?

Thanks

Yes and no, you can tune for e85 but you will need new injectors to actually run it. Lots of posts on this and unless you are boosted not sure it's worth it. The gains don't seem to be all that fantastic for the trouble until you need it for boosted applications imho...

e85 produces pretty good gains even on N/A platforms. All you need are the FRPP 47lb injectors ($220 on ebay) and a tune for it.

I just installed my JLT intake, 47lb injectors, and e85 tune and I notice a difference. my friends car that I used to beat by a fender I'm now pulling by a car, almost a car and a half. Ive also gotten pretty decent MPG if I don't hit it all the time lol. Its a good upgrade to get a little more power out of the motor for a low cost.

Brian who did your tune??

I'm thinking of going bama just to save those extra $100 that Lund would charge for e85

Anyone have dyno numbers on just an E85 tune?
Mine dyno'd 413 with intake, catback and 93 tune. Then added off road long tube headers and e85 it jumped to 460.
