2500 miles for full synthetic? That is crazy if so.
For a good read see my post above, post #4. Tons of oil info on that site and real world data. 2,500 miles is absolutely crazy...and overkill...and totally not required.

seems to be a lot of misinformation in this thread.

E85 holds moisture, like all alcohol, more so than gasoline (where it would normally separate). The result is a fuel high in moisture that when it combusts, could have some residual moisture mixing with the oil causing a "milky" substance. The oil and moisture do not separate due to the environment and hence this carmel colored milky substance is born.

I did see someone mention "short" trips where the oil does not get up to operating temperature. This is more-so the culprit than long trips.

Depending on the use of the vehicle, 2500-3k miles should be fine. I always stayed closer to the 2500 mark.

Oh and if you dont believe me, install an AOS with clear tubing and see if you still think i'm crazy.
And if your tuner has you running rich things get worse.
