Hi I’m a new member with a 2022 Ecoboost. I did a search and read all kinds of Dyno info but not everything. I have a 10spd auto and worried about problems on the dyno. First I’m assuming pull in 7th gear because it’s 1:1? Also, I have had other applications up shift before redline even in manual mode. Is that a problem with the 10spds? Is there something I need to do to avoid that like be in a certain drive mode? Will traction control cause problems? I found conflicting post about that?

I plan to make some baseline pulls in a couple of weeks—before making and mods.

thank you!!

They should unplug the ABS connector from under the hood before the pulls so traction control won't be an issue. Anything else I cannot answer as I don't have a Auto.

Not sure how they do it on an eco but with v8 Mustangs we usually dyno in 6th gear because at the top of the run we would have way to much speed on the rollers in 7th if something catastrophic were to happen so they run it in 6th. Hopefully an ecoboost who has dyno experience will chime in. Maybe @MiDiablo can chime in..

So from using the search it sounds like this plug is the abs?
