Dss driveshaft 3.5 or 4"

Im looking at getting an aluminum driveshaft. Some places sell a 900hp 3.5" and some are 4" 1000hp. 6 speed gt. Is there any advantages of either? Its says there is no clearance issues with the 4"

Cost and weight, really. Do you have need for a 1000hp capable driveshaft?
