Hey guys I have a 2017 mustang gt N/A with 3.73, long tubes JLT CAI. I am thinking of doing the driveshaft 3.5 or 4 inches. Which would be better and why??? Or don't bother doing it at all. Thank you

All else equal, the 4" will be stronger, but will be heavier.

It was the best mod I did when NA. Gives the car a much better response to pedal feel. You also shave off about 17lbs of rotating mass.

CF saved the weight, not the diameter. In general it has to do with shaft rpm...larger diameter will vibrate less at higher rpm IIRC.

Are you referring to my statement? I did not run a CF shaft when NA. I ran a Aluminum Dynotech shaft (which I would highly recommend over the others out there). Believe the stock shaft and center support was like 34lbs and the new Dynotech was like 17lbs.

Well I wasn't sure if the OP was thinking of CF but you provide good info for sure.
