Driver side window

Anyone's window ever do the opposite of what you request it to do? I would say half the time I press close it opens.

so I have now realized that when I pull up on the left side of the window switch the window goes down, and when I pull up on the right side of the switch it goes up. when I press down on the switch it functions properly and goes down.
very strange must be some kind of connection problem in the switch mechanism.
